One timer that IMO should be is right before the 90 degree curve on the Flushing bound #7 entering QBP. Ive been on trains where the T/O goes up the hill with a big green ball from Court House Sq "wrapped around" & slams on the brakes right before or going into the curve with noticeable G forces felt by the clientele. Its a wonder that there was never (AFAIK) a major accident there.

Meantime, Manhattan bound from QBP to Court Square, they put in timers that have the train slow down to 5MPH midway & 5MPH right before the station. And thats on level track!

Go figure.
