Posted by Jersey Mike on Fri Nov 27 01:06:57 2015 I just wanted to remind everyone about the 15th annual SEPTA Mid-Winter Trip, currently scheduled for Monday, December 28th. As always the trip kicks off at 9am in the east concourse of SEPTA's Market East station (if you can't find said station you're a corporate stooge). The focus this year is the R3 due to both the impending closing of the R3 Media east of Swarthmore and the fact an MWT hasn't touched the West Trenton Line in almost 10 years.The itinerary is as follows: R3 West Trenton to Neshaminy Falls. Return to Fern Rock BSS/MFL to 30th St Photo Op @ 30th St. R3 Elwyn to Media. Walk to downtown Media Lunch Rt 101 to Drexel Jct Photo Op Drexel Jct Rt 102 to Sharon Hill Walk to R2 Station. NEC Photo Op. R2 to Temple University Evening rush Regional Rail photo op @Temple University. I'll release a Google map in the coming days. |
