Posted by Steve B-8AVEXP on Tue Nov 24 21:40:56 2015 I had my first taste of the CPW Express dash on this date in 1967 on a n/b prewar D. To mark the occasion, my IND sign box is currently set up as a D from 205th St. to Coney Island. Had I paid more attention, my mother and I might have spent some time on the BMT that day. Although she'd gotten me one of those "New Subway Routes" pamphlets that outlined the new routes brought on by Chrystie St., I didn't pay much attention. We stayed on the IND all that day. |
