As far as I am concerned, they can put whatever signals are necessary to keep the train from going past the bumper block. Maybe a camera or two wouldn't hurt either; post the pictures on Facebook so everyone knows ho sped past the bumper block. For that matter, they can position a trained marksman there if that will keep train operators from speeding, even if it isn't that many that do it. You don't get a "do-over" or an extra life if the train goes past the bumper block, unless you're Sylvester the cat.
