Back in 1977, when Len Deighton wrote SS-GB, an alternate-history story in which the Nazis win the Battle of Britain, the book, complete with the "SS-GB" swastika emblem on the cover, was prominently advertised all over the subway system. Nobody said boo, IIRC.

Ditto the HBO adaptation of Fatherland, another alternate-history story where Germany wins WWII. That ad had a swastika, too, but nobody complained. Times, however, have changed, and it's at least good to see that people are historically aware.
