When I would work the D on the Brighton Line, leaving 7 Av I would just release the brakes and the train would start to roll. It picked up so much speed just from the free roll that I had to apply the brakes to slow down for the timers S/O Atlantic. Of course that was with the old signaling but I would imagine it would be the same with the new signals. |
