The Dodgers didn't see the Coliseum until right after the parade through downtown LA. They played the Giants (who else?) and Willie Mays went over to Duke Snider, who no doubt groaned when he saw the distant right field fence, and said, "Look what I get to aim at!" as he pointed to the short porch in left field, screen and all. |
