The ridership on the west side was such that 9 car trains could be operated on the expresses until the platforms were extended. Lex was a different story, so Lo-Vs had to be operated on the expresses during the week until all platforms were extended to 10 cars since 9 car trains wouldn’t have carried the loads. |
