Some old ones don't, but as they get phased out, the new ones have bathrooms. That was easier to force them to do the right thing on those because the regular Metra trains all have bathrooms, so there was inequality between the two parts of the system.If the FRA would just rule that all heavy rail trains must have bathrooms, it would force SEPTA and RTD to put them in and fix the problem. SEPTA's excuse about not being able to service them is one of the lamest excuses that I have ever heard about something not getting done. But we all know that SEPTA hates their customers, and would rather just scrap all the cars and go home. It's unfortunate that a transit agency views itself that way. |
