Wayne rode on a rocket of a 179th-bound R-10 Fred early in 1981, with 3080 as the lead motor. It took the Queens Blvd. express stretch fast enough, and once it got on the Hillside Ave. racetrack, it went into overdrive. According to Wayne, Sutphin Blvd. went by in a blur. |
