Well ... it was the organizer's thing. Having grown up poor myself, I know what it's like to want to get on the path and not having the cash to even start. That's why I'm proud of what I've accomplished given where I started out. But it was hard. Anybody who's willing to help others get there under similar circumstances has my encouragement despite the politics of those who step up in the first place.Neither the Panthers or NOI folks accepted me at first until I managed to prove that I was "for reals" ... given my experience, I'm willing to give latitude on the simple basis of trying at all. |
