Posted by milantram on Fri Aug 28 21:11:31 2015 Hi, gang!Last week, I was in Charlotte, where I finally got to see and ride the new CityLynx Streetcar. Here are some pics, just to whet your appetite. There will be more soon.  At the Trade Street stub, adjacent to Time Warner Cable Arena, the Charlotte Transportation Center, and the Lynx Light Rail CTC Arena Station. August 19, 2015.  After crossing Kings Road, the streetcar approaches CPCC (Central Piedmont Community College). In this HDR photo, taken during a break in the monsoon weather, the Bank of America Building, with its "bird's nest" top, is on the right, and the Duke Energy Center's on the extreme left.
