I've heard that the #7 extention to the West Side was built to B division specs. Hopefully that's true. Someday the Steinway Tunnel will have to be replaced. Assuming the new tunnel will also be built to IND/BMT specs., that would allow B division size cars to run on the Flushing Line.Who knows, maybe my great grandkids will be able to ride a nostalga train of R-32s to Main Street! |
