Well, the "riff-raff" need to go places too. I think there should be an effort to beef up LIRR service in the city, and to have it available at a more reasonable price. Maybe not integrated with MetroCard, but have one price that is available for either MN or LIRR within the city proper.That is quite true, some of the areas along the line might start to gentrify, which would bring new development and more tax revenue for the city. |
