Still is ... just not one that you identify with. No worries, there's always Garner Ted Armstrong. :)The internet pretty much destroyed "mass media" and journalism. Once upon a time, there were only a few channels, and the majority of Americans all watched the same thing, or listened to the same radio network. THAT gave Americans something in COMMON, something that could be a SHARED EXPERIENCE, something that they could gather around and discuss the next morning over the water cooler. Now, we're all divided into small groups in separate echo chambers where if you don't like what the preacher is selling, there's another cube just down the hall that might be more to your liking. Once upon a time, America was a UNITED States. Now we're all splintered up and throwing pies at one another. THAT is what is wrong with this country, we have nothing in common with one another thanks to the dividers. Keeps us from choking some banksters and the "powers that be" as long as we fight each other instead of those who are stealing YOUR future. :( "All for sale, all for sale, ALL for sale." |
