I drive under this building all the time on Houston St, never realized it was the former rail terminal. To be honest, I can't see it being of much use for commuter services. It's not near any major employment districts of the city. No access to the Hudson River tunnels, so you could maybe have used it as a secondary terminal for Empire and New England services, but that's about it. A bummer to see it not being used for rail anymore, but not a total devastating loss by any means.
