Not really. Fulton St, Manhattan is separated from Fulton St, Brooklyn by the East River. Two separate streets that only share the same name. Liberty Ave, on the other hand, is one continuous road in Brooklyn and in Queens. It should have been called Pennsylvania Ave, as previously mentioned in this thread. From what I have read in the Brooklyn Eagle, some residents were upset with the station entrance layout because they had to cross Atlantic Ave to get to the only stairways on Liberty Ave, itself. They clamored for another stairway on the north side, between Fulton St and Jamaica Ave.
