Except that it says N and Q trains to Manhattan will not be stopping there. Because that is an IRT station, it is correct to say that N and Q trains are not stopping there.

It may imply that N and Q trains to Manhattan typically stop there, or that N and Q trains from Manhattan stop there, yes. However, half this board takes everything completely literally and certain posters who need not be named have even accused me of making stuff up when I made basic logical deductions from what was explicitly stated. As such, in the interests of fitting in, I am treating the most explicit and literal interpretation as the only valid one. The explicit and literal meaning of the sign is that N and Q trains bound for Manhattan are unavailable at that station. Because that statement is correct and any other statements implied by the sign are invalid, the sign is accurate.
