It was a stairway from just outside the upper entrance to lower "street" level. Presumably the stairs was an alternate to the tunnel. The stairs were blocked at the time so I couldn't explore it.I seem to remember that the upper entrance also had an ancient token booth, but my memory is very hazy on that. |
