Some owners of establishments aren't particularly vigilant in making sure that no customer makes the gaffe of tipping the owner. :)I went a few times to a haircutting establishment where I knew my hair was being cut by the owner and he asked in some kind of semi-subtle way whether my payment was including a tip or not (I think I gave him a round sum of money more than the price and he asked if I wanted change). |
