Bicycling offers a partial solution to the urban mobility problem. It does not include massive capital outlays to implement and sustain.It's seen as a financial threat to the status quo which require these massive outlays to sustain themselves. Anti-bicycling sentiment peaks when those who profit from the status quo perceive danger from bicycles reducing their livelihood. |
