So for freight to either NYC or all of New England,. Albany is far enough south to cross the Hudson? We lost the Poughkeepsie Bridge during a period of massive RR route shrinkage. As for passenger service, seems to me adding options/capacity for west of Hudson residents is not a bad idea. |
