Good point, but it’s probably the best option IF it eventually comes into fruition since it would be a miracle if even that portion gets built. Remember that it would be a massive undertaking to build the full Utica/Stuyvesant subway and connect it to S 4 St which would be probably the only logical route. And has been mentioned in other posts, with the disconnecting of the Houston St express tracks for a potential S 4 St line there is really no practical place for such a route to go. |
