That's why I proposed an LIRR service, funded by the city, that provides 20min headways at all city zone stations (except Far Rockaway, Douglaston, and Little Neck) (30 min headways during late nights) that would charge a fare comparable to the existing express bus fare and allows free transfers to the subway/bus. You could also charge $3.50 for service between intermediate points (those not going to NYP/GCT/FBA) |
