My personal observation is it's the food delivery bicyclists who are predominately heading the wrong way up one way streets in the bike lane. That said, ever ride the 8th Ave bike lane by the Port Authority Bus Terminal to about 46th Street during the afternoon rush hour? It's a pedestrian free-for all. Even the cops double-park their cars in the bike lane between 42nd & 43rd. How do you expect John & Jane Q. Public to respect the bike lane law when Fred Q. Officer doesn't even do it?--Mark |
