You can add to the list of lines which were not extended the Hillside Ave. E/F (yes some rush hour E trains use it). In 1950 the 179th St. station was opened and east of the station there are two levels of relay tracks. The upper level was originally intended to be extended further (possibly all the way to the city line) but that never happened.
