IDK, but Roosevelt Island flooded, and the 60th Street Tunnel Entrance and the QB 21st station are about the same distance apart from the River...

I would imagine QB 21st and Roosevelt Island Station would be the most vulnerable points to flooding, not to mention emergency exits.


I would think the tunnel having an modern design has a lot do to with it suffering no major damage during Sandy, I mean EVERY rail tunnel south of there suffered damage cause of that storm. I don't think its a coincidence that the most modern one didn't suffer any major damage.
