If it ran on regular 10 or 15 minute headways, with use of Metrocards and subway-like cars requiring only 1 conductor, and with convenient transfers at either end and wherever it crosses a subway, plus an additional station or two added over time, it could became a viable alternative for Queens and Brooklyn residents to get to downtown Brooklyn (which is becoming a major secondary downtown for NYC) and Manhattan. |
