If QB can't handle (M) service on most weekends due to construction, then I would look at on weekends combining the (M) with the Manhattan part of the (B) and have on weekends the (M) run to 145th (normal route to 47-50, then local on CPW).That would give Broadway-Brooklyn passengers direct midtown service on weekends and those on CPW a 6th Avenue local option then as well (and those in Willamsburg a one-seat ride to the upper west side on weekends as well). That might be the compromise that needs to be made. |
