If you don't like those canned announcements, you better avoid cars 6555-51/6521-25 like the plague. As part of test pilot to reduce dwell times because of long automated announcements, the MTA in their infinite wisdom, added a 30 second recording that boils down to "don't block the doors as others exit the train" that plays at every major transfer point as part of the arriving announcements. |
