If you don't remember it, it's the one that fizzled.

American Maglev Technologies and Old Dominion University got together to build a short line that would demonstrate AMT's maglev technology. In 2001 they built an elevated guideway across the ODU campus, about 0.6 mile long. In 2002 AMT delivered a car that they had tested on their test track in Florida, but they couldn't get it to work at ODU.

The problem was that the Florida track was at ground level, and more rigid than the elevated guideway at ODU. They couldn't maintain the proper spacing between the car and the track at ODU. Result: a very bumpy ride.

AMT and ODU parted ways, and ODU took over the track for its own research. They later hooked up with another company, Magnemotion, which successfully tested a low-speed "sled" (not a complete car) around the time I happened to visit in 2012. In the last couple of pictures you can see that "sled" sitting on the guideway.
