Bad maintenance, bad scheduling, bad labor relations and horrid, horrid conditions. I had to take that POS down to Red Bank often to get to Monmouth and if the train ever showed up, it was a 50-50 chance that it would get south of Elizabeth and still move.You know you've got idiots running a railroad when the engine runs out of fuel 5 miles out of Jersey City. :-\ |
