More accurately a Flivver which were Lo-Vs with Hi-V controls removed from the original Composites when they were converted to el operation. That clip may have been taken during a post PM rush hour period when Lex Av trains operated into the ferry since in the period after the Lo-Vs and Flivvers got their kerosene deck lamps replaced by battery lamps which this train clearly has the Flivvers were assigned to both the 7 Av and Lex Wh Pl Rd express services. I have seen photos of Flivvers on the Bway Lcl which in the old days was usually a Hi-V line but the trains in those photos still had the kerosene deck lamps. Info as to the year that episode was filmed would be helpful. |
