To the Leonard Brothers, it was well worth it.And initially, at least, to Tandy Corp., which took over the store and built Tandy Center, also served by these ex-Washington trolleys. Later, the PCCs were rebuilt with new bodies, called "Radio Shack Modern", but when they came around that turn at the bottom of that grade and roared up to the top station, there was that old familiar PCC wheel squeal and classic PCC motor hum.
