NS owns the former Pennsy part of Penn Central.It's worthwhile to stop there even if there aren't any trains. Definitely go to the Johnstown Flood Museum and Railroaders Museum in Altoona. Unfortunately, Amtrak's schedule doesn't provide round trip travel between Johnstown and Altoona with a short layover. |
