Remember that they kept making the point of having someone from each of the five boroughs - so they needed SOMEone from SI....a - excuse the expression, especially considering the kid's heritage - token Staten Islander.Even accounting for early 60s tokenism. having the black kid coming from Staten Island, is kind of laughable, and was probably even more so back in 1960-61... |
