I can't give you the first and last dates, but I can say that the change in style coincided with the switch from traditional production methods to digital.Hagstrom maps (like other copyrighted maps) introduced non-critical errors to detect infringement. Andrew Hagstrom was big on showing mapped but unbuilt lines and highways in a style that indicated they were "future." |
