Forgot to mention: The T's bilevels are most likely too tall for the CCCT. The NJT MLVs will probably make it clearance-wise, but it'd be most likely regarded as too much money by SEPTA to spend on 3-2 seating for them versus the standard 2-2 that NJT uses.(And of course, if the T hadn't been so stupid as to build high platforms on what were generally all-low-platform commuter stations and terminals, they could have used gallery cars, judging by the height above rail of their current bilevels.) |
