You actually thought to ask these "old timers" if they had ever heard of a Southern or Eastern Division on the surface lines? Why? And I am talking origins: how many of them researched early BRT history, do you suppose?If BCRR wasn't an ancestor the BRT, what is? You only think lines that became rapid transit are ancestors of the BRT? And the BRT had the BCRR (like other properties) by leasehold and the BCRR returned like the phoenix until 1928, was it was absorbed into the B&QT. |
