Twenty or thirty years ago we would have given our eyeteeth to of had a resource like this" - for a field of interest that is so very technical at its base, there has always been a strong and connecting strand of oral history: the passing on all kinds of history (industrail archeology, political, real estate, electrical engineering developments etc.) as they relate to urban transit, between "old timers" and as Larry said, younger folks who are experiening developments out on the road as they happen. |
