Bob: There were so many collisions back then that many never got reported. I couldn't find anything relating to 1181. You mentioned Tower A. Was this in the Coney Island Yard? There was a collision in December, 1977 between two trains of R-46's. This occurred at 5th Avenue-53rd Street.Larry, RedbirdR33 |
