Whoever would wind up in control of the Mideast oilfields in the absence of our military misadventures would surely still be willing to sell oil to us, because keeping it in the ground really won't benefit them, and selling it will. So calling the costs of war part of the "full cost" of oil really doesn't hold up. And then there is domestic production. |
