Not well. Ronan lied to Moses about his intentions to give Moses substantial authority for highway design and construction under the MTA set-up. Moses fell for it and was out of power completely by 1968. If Moses had not given in, the TBTA would not have been merged into the MTA, at least without lengthy court fights. |
