I would imagine the supplementary Silver service between East Falls Church & Rosslyn have helped the "Orange crush" (severe overcrowding on the Orange line).Prior to the Silver line, rush-hour frequencies were inexplicably equal on the Blue & Orange lines, even though you could often find a seat on most Blue trains, where the Orange was so crowded your face would be pressed against the glass doors. |
