Steak and Shake on Dale Mabry BlvdI had never eaten at a Steak & Shake, and did so because Jim Boyd, the late managing editor of Railfan & Railroad magazine, gave it high praise. We liked it. We were looking for a restaurant recommended by a former classmate of my wife's, but apparently we drove past it without seeing it. transportation content: Dale Mabry was an Army Air Corps pilot who was captain of the lighter-than-air ship Roma that broke up in 1922 and crashed on high tension wires and exploded. |
