As bad as it is today, it was worse before 12/88. The area around 169th St was simply not designed to handle all that bus traffic. I won't even include the myriad of "dollar vans" which poached riders from the various bus lines dumping people at 169th St.169th st used to get dangerously crowded during the morning rush. |
