Don't forget that the Parsons-Archer terminal has two subway options - the E and the J/Z - so bus riders from SE Queens and the N4 have a better choice and a shorter trip than if they used the old E service at 169th-Hillside. Believe that the cost savings with shifting the SE Queens buses to Parsons-Archer convinced the TA to send the E train to Parsons-Archer and would allow the F along to serve the 179th St. branch. |
