Kids haven't been getting immunized in the past couple of decades between the right wing conspiracies, and lack of access to health care. An extremely large number of those under 30 never had the shot.That's also the reason for the push on "shingles" for older adults, because the kids never got their chicken pox either. When someone infected with shingles is among young'uns, they will get chicken pox and it's pretty nasty. I won't play with the political morons here, but Obamacare will finally DO something about this. For those exposed though, it will be a world of hurt if they didn't get the immunizations for this. |
