Yes, by most, however.....If something had gone wrong, a rival candidate would use it in attack ads against Cuomo whether it be in a 2018 re-election bid for Governor and/or a 2020 or '24 Presidential bid. That is what Cuomo was likely afraid of, but instead, it backfired and a lot of people are STILL PO'ed at Cuomo over this. This may not be forgotten as easily as some think, especially by those who now may have to miss Super Bowl parties because they have to go into work to make up for the lost workday(s). If that happens, there could be some lawsuits (likely laughed out of court) by people who had their Super Bowl weekend "ruined" by Cuomo's decision. |
