I know people who have to deal with family that are like that.On another board I post at, there was for example someone who noted when Whitney Houston died how they didn't find out until well into the next day because she was with her parents who did not have TV or internet and frowned on her even using her cell phone because they were older and quite rigid. At Christmastime, I'm sure many were dealing with parents/relatives like that and that likely contributed to what happened in 2010. |
